Title block
Also called: drawing title block, title box

A title block is the boxed area, usually in the lower-right corner of a technical drawing, that identifies the drawing: title, drawing number, revision, date, scale, units, projection and who prepared it. On a pallet drawing it ties the drawing to the customer, pallet ID and spec revision.
What a pallet drawing title block should contain

These mirror the identification fields on a PDS spec sheet (customer, pallet ID, drawing number, specification date, revision number and date).
Why it matters
Pallet specs change: a board gets thicker, a notch moves, the species changes. The title block's drawing number and revision let buyers, mills and receiving docks confirm they are all looking at the same version, which matters when a retailer rejects pallets at receiving. RFQs commonly list the drawing number and revision so quotes can reference them.
